Nadia Elena Comaneci

Her name gained international attention and affection for presenting the world with one of its most memorable moments in the history of sports - scoring the first-ever perfect 10 on bars that were symmetrical in the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976. Furthermore, she also scored six perfect 10s and made her 14 years of old, the youngest Olympic medallist in every category. Nadia Comaneci managed to attract international attention and assist in helping Romania to establish itself in the global spotlight. With an impossible result she became a legendary figure and promoted gymnastics across the globe. People's view of female athletes also changed due to her performance. The impact of her performance in the Olympics was so profound that her toe step (release) and the toe step were both named after her on the event uneven bars. Apart from the Olympics the gymnast showed remarkable performances at her participation in the World Championships and European Championships and was subsequently a living legend and one of the best-known gymnasts anyone could have. In the US she was able to advertise the sport and fashion industry after leaving her native country. Nadia Nadia Nadia Nadia 2 Nadia
